ZOO was the first production of Paravan and the show that has established the company as an avant garde group. It was the first site specific show that used theatre walk through techniques in Cyprus. Live music using found objects, sculptural costumes, movement and images instead of text made ZOO a landmark in the history of theatre in Cyprus. ZOO was performed in the basement of an under construction theatre. It received excellent critiques from the press and was awarded with Best Costume Design and Best Musical Score awarded by the Theatre Organisation of Cyprus in 2008.
